British Public Would Support Young Driver Restrictions

More than two thirds of a two thousand person poll by the RAC Foundation have said that they would support a restricted license for new drivers in the first year after passing their test. Limits on the number of passengers that can be carried in the car, along with a curfew on driving after midnight are some of the ideas that have been put forward. When you match the fact that 17-19 year olds account for 1 in 60 of our drivers on the road, but are involved in 1 in 8 of all accidents, then you can see there’s a  problem that needs to be tackled…..
