DAB Car Radios On The Rise?

According to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) it finally looks like DAB radios are becoming the norm in new car purchases. Statistics for vehicles sales that have DAB radios as standard have rapidly risen from 12% in 2011, to 38% in April-June 2013, and now 55% for the current year. Although there is no digital switchover from FM on the horizon, the increased uptake bodes well for those in the DAB selling and fitment market, and those new cars bought without DAB will be at a distinct disadvantage when thinking about resell value in the next few years…..
