EU To Crack Down On British Diesel Drivers

There could be an end to the tax breaks that diesel car drivers have received in previous years. With the news that the EU is looking to sue the British Government on the grounds of premature death and illness due to the diesel fumes, action is to be taken to reduce the number of older diesel vehicles on the road. More than 10 million diesel cars would be in line to face higher taxing, along with the potential introduction of a £10 daily charge to drive in London and other major cities.
