Higher Cost To Run Electric Car?

The governments electric car support and installation subsidy ended in April, and it looks like the running costs will take a big jump because of this. There is definite growth in the market, proven by the fact more than 2000 electric cars were sold in the first half of this year, twice as many as the same period in 2013. However, the end of the subsidy means that free charge-ups at petrol stations will likely finish, and the new charging costs will often be more expensive than a petrol fill up. This being said, if you can work your journeys so you always charge-up from home, the savings will still be considerable…..
