Illegal Tyres On Thirty Percent Of School Run Cars

According to studies of a primary school in Shropshire carried out by Tyresure, more than thirty percent of vehicles used during the school run have illegal tyres. Around a third of the tyres were found to have incorrect pressures, insufficient depth of tread or severe damage to the tyre edges, which could all put a vehicles road worthiness into question. There’s hope that studies like this reinforce how important tyre checks are when thinking about the safety of not just the driver, but also young children who may be in the car.
