Penalty Points Doubling For Drivers Using Mobiles

Transport secretary Patrick McLoughlin has suggested that the current sanction of penalty points could be doubled if you’re found to be using a mobile phone while driving. The current three point penalty would become six, meaning a driver could be banned from the roads if caught twice in three years.
