Young Males Are Biggest Culprits With Phone At The Wheel

A study carried out by Intelligent Car Leasing has found that young people, and more specifically young males are the biggest culprits for using their phones at the wheel. 1000 members of the public were asked if they had held their phones while driving in the last 30 days, and of those, around 10% of males and 4.5% of females admitted they had. Those statistics can be broken down further into age groups which reveal that 18-24 year olds would be 100% more likely than the whole group to use a phone at the wheel, while 25-34 year olds were 234% more likely!
